Help Krissy Fight Cancer
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
Recently I got the tragic news that my dear friend of 20 years has been diagnosed with stage 4 Cancer. Krissy Haiflich (aka Krissy Kringle) is one of the most kind and compassionate people you will ever meet and Christmas is the time of year that brings her more joy than any other. Im hoping with a little help, our family, along with the help of others can send her some Christmas cheer while she is in a fight for her life. On May 26th of this year, Krissy was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of stage 4 bone cancer called METASTATIC HIGH-GRADE PLEOMORPHIC
LEIOMYOSARCOMA OF LEFT
PERIACETABULAR BONE. By the time she found out, the cancer had spread to her lungs, pelvic bone, hip, and spine. Doctors gave her only one year to live.
But anyone who knows Krissy knows she is a force to be reckoned with. Her strength and will to fight are nothing short of unbelievable. She has endured 5 rounds of grueling chemotherapy, each one harder than the last. By the 5th round, she was so weak that she was admitted to the hospital, where it seemed like she might not make it. But Krissy didn’t give up. She fought, as she always does, and survived, even when the odds seemed impossible.
She has faced the worst of what cancer can throw at her—blood infections, stomach complications, daily injections, and IV drips—and yet she continues to fight, determined to live.
But the fight isn’t over. After enduring chemotherapy, the doctors now recommend a highly invasive surgery to remove her pelvic bone, her Iliac bone in her hip, and the ball joint of her hip. While this surgery is meant to remove the remaining cancer, it’s not a guarantee, and it could leave her with permanent disability, making her a cripple. The decision is excruciating, and she and her sweet husband Anthony are exploring every possible option for less invasive treatments.
Through it all, Krissy remains the most positive, loving, and the most determined person I know. She is a true Christmas Angel, and now, more than ever, she needs our help.
I am launching this GoFundMe to help cover the significant costs of her medical treatments, get second opinions, and potentially life-saving treatments that are not covered by insurance. All donations will go toward her medical expenses, specialized care, and any alternative treatments that can improve her quality of life and give her the best chance at survival.
Krissy and her husband Anthony have already been through so much. Anthony has taken time off work to care for her full-time, and they are both exhausted—emotionally, physically, and financially. They should not have to worry about money right now. What they need is peace of mind, so Krissy can focus on healing, not on the financial burden of this fight.
If you can, please consider contributing to help Krissy get the care she needs to survive this. No donation is too small, and every bit helps. If you can’t donate, sharing this campaign with others would mean the world. Please keep Krissy in your thoughts and prayers as she continues this battle, and thank you so much for your support. Merry Christmas to all.
With love and gratitude,
Nikki and Dan Moylan
