About 3 weeks ago Krissy noticed a lump on her left breast. 

She immediately called the doctor and they got her in for a mammogram The same week. 

They found a suspicious area and wanted to biopsy it right away. 

We found out today that she has stage ll aggressive invasive carcinoma.  Breast cancer. 

She will be going  through chemo therapy. 

After the tumor shrinks (they are hoping for 2 to 3 months of chemo) 

The tumor will then be removed (surgically)

Then she will have to go through radiation

And then either a lump ectomy  or a mastectomy.

She’s handling it really well and of course extremely nervous about doing chemo, and most likely being out of work with no income coming in. 

We will keep you all updated as we know more. mom and Krissy meet with the oncologist still this week on Thursday afternoon. 

In days to come they are expecting Kris to not be able  to work at times depending on how bad the chemo affects her. This doesn’t include coming up with money for the holidays. 

With being a single mom you can only imagine how stressful this must be.
