Help Krishna Receive Urgent Leukaemia Treatment
Donation protected
Hello friends,
Two months ago, at the young age of 29, our dear friend and teammate, Krishna, was diagnosed with T- Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia, a life-threatening blood cancer requiring immediate treatment.
In the UK anyone with this diagnosis would receive chemotherapy, a bone marrow transplant and further treatment which would be covered by the NHS.
Sadly, the things we take for granted are not available in other parts of the world.
While we work alongside him every day, Krishna is based in India, and he and his family must fund the treatment themselves. The first stage of the treatment is chemotherapy, which Krishna is currently undergoing at Continental Hospital in Hyderabad.
Terribly, this initial chemotherapy treatment has used all Krishna’s healthcare cover and family savings. Krishna urgently needs £44,000 to pay for the next critical step in the treatment, a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT).
BMT must start now but can’t go ahead until the funds are raised. Without this treatment, Krishna will have no way to fight the cancer and may never get to see his one-year-old son grow up.
This is an urgent appeal requesting your help to raise the funds needed for the treatment. If you can spare anything towards this cause, no matter how small, he would be extremely grateful for your help. Please contribute now to save his life!!!
Lastly, PLEASE SHARE ON SOCIAL MEDIA. This will help the cause reach as many people as possible and increase the chances that Krishna can receive this critical treatment.
Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness.
