We created the Dadhichi Goushala to give cows in India a better life. Thousands of stray cows in India suffer from injury, starvation, and neglect. This is sad to hear, especially because in Hindu culture, cows are deeply loved — they are symbols of motherhood, selfless giving, and divinity. According to Sanatan Dharma, it is believed that all Gods reside within the cow. Helping a cow is seen as a direct act of serving God.

This mission began when my grandmother, Krishna Arun Jyothi, purchased a plot of land in Naimisharanya Dham, Uttar Pradesh, with the dream of building a gaushala. In this shelter, abandoned and injured cows can receive food, medical care, and love. She already has a team of determined volunteers, but after purchasing the land, she no longer had enough funds to construct and maintain a gaushala.

This broke my heart. I knew I had to take action to make her dream come true.

With your help, we hope to make this dream a reality. Every single donation goes towards building a gaushala and providing cows with urgently needed shelter, food, and life-saving medical care. Together, we can create a caring sanctuary for cows, and directly serve God.
