Hi. My name is Katie and I am fundraising for my momma. She is a career waitress who tore one meniscus two years ago. Then a few months ago, she was working and suddenly started having a similar pain in her other knee. It's gotten so bad that she has not been able to maintain her employment due to the pain. She will feel better for a day and then step wrong, and it's back to being off of her feet for a week. She currently has no income and can't even think about scheduling an MRI or surgery because she will have no way to make her rent or pay for food.

This Go Fund Me is only to cover her bills during her recovery period after surgery. We're hoping that insurance will cover the majority of that, but she will have a copay.
