Kris is a close friend of mine from the car and motorcycle world, where we’ve shared everything from racing adventures to working together in repossessions. Recently, Kris’s life changed dramatically when he became paralyzed from the waist down and now relies on a wheelchair for mobility. Despite his situation, Kris does not qualify for Medicaid and is unable to afford the motorized wheelchair attachment that would make a world of difference in his daily life.

Without this attachment, Kris faces significant challenges just getting around his own home, especially with the hills that make movement unsafe and exhausting. Everyday tasks that most of us take for granted—getting to appointments, running errands, or simply enjoying time with friends—have become difficult and sometimes dangerous for him. The lack of proper equipment limits his independence and puts his safety at risk.

Kris has always been the kind of person who goes out of his way to help others, whether it’s lending a hand in the garage or supporting friends in tough times. Now, he needs our help.
