Hi! We are Krissy’s sisters, Kim, Kelsey and Karley.

On June 23, after a colonoscopy, Kris was diagnosed with Colon cancer, with her Oncologist ultimately thinking she is in stage 3. To help her Oncologist further understand her cancer, Kris had a laparoscopy done on July 15th. During the laparoscopy, her ovaries seemed very suspicious of cancer and were both removed. Making this a major surgery and 3 day hospital stay. Fortunately, the ovaries do not have cancer! Kris will have the mass in her colon removed surgically within the next couple weeks followed by chemotherapy.

Kris is a full time para at North Bend Central high school. Kris stays busy working a few jobs around Schuyler and North Bend to help compensate for the summer monthsschool is not in session. She has had to take numerous days off already during the summer for her first visits with GI doctors, lab testings, meeting with her Surgical Oncologist, her Medical Oncologist and previously mentioned before, her major surgery removing her ovaries and port for chemo put in her chest.

All that know Kris know, she would do anything to help friends, animals and strangers. She has raised money for so many different non-profit organizations , helped people in need and is more than willing to help raise awareness to whatever you need help raising awareness for.
