Help Kris and Frank Macias Overcome a Dire Financial Burden
Donation protected
Greetings, everyone.
It is with an incredibly heavy and desperate heart that I must ask for your HELP with an unexpected financial burden that has been placed on our household.
Many of you are aware that I have been living in the lower level of my grandparents' home for the better part of a decade in order to help them navigate complications that arise around the house. Due to the slowly worsening condition of my grandfather's Alzheimer's, he is unable to do many of the things he used to do (i.e., repairs, lawn management, etc.), and that is where I pick up the slack for them.
Sadly, we were hit with a costly repair this month, February 2025, and we were unpreparedly forced to replace our entire sewer line. If you have had this done before or know anything about plumbing, then you know just how financially life-altering this process can be. With the loan we had to take out to pay for the excavation, permits, disposal, replacement, and labor costs, we might as well have purchased a new car for my grandparents. If that wasn't enough, almost exactly one year ago, we had our entire front yard landscaped and our lawn was looking so beautiful (the best on our block, in fact)! Alas, we can no longer say that, and the desperation and weight of burden has weighed heavily on us all; but especially on my grandmother, as she worries considerably about how we might pay off this loan. Both of my grandparents live solely off of their retirement pensions and have no 401(k) or IRA plans to pull from, and my income can only help so much.
With all of that being said, we are asking for your help! Anybody who knows my grandparents knows that they are the kindest, most loving, most accepting, and most patient human beings they have ever met or known. They are incredibly God-fearing and humble in every respect, and your help today can and will bring you and your household great blessings for helping this beautiful couple.
Just as Jesus said in Matthew 25, I repeat for you now: “[...] the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’”
If you cannot donate to this cause or can only donate once, please, we beseech you, share this GoFundMe with your family and friends and ask them to do the same.
God bless you ALL! Thank you so much for your prayers and contributions!
