Help Krew with Brain Surgery Expenses

2023 has been a rough one for us! While the wife was undergoing treatment for rectal cancer, Krew (our youngest of 6) was having seizures which led to an MRI and the discovery of his Chiari malformation. We just thought he was a clumsy kid but his falls and other symptoms are a part of his diagnosis!

Krew has a rare brain condition called Arnold Chiari Malformation Type 1. The brain sits too low in the skull and rests in the opening of the spinal cord. When this happens it restricts the flow of cerebrospinal fluid between the head and the spinal cord. There is no cure for Chiari Malformation and it is a progressive disease. As a result, it can cause multiple neurological issues.

We will travel to North Carolina in January for his surgery to decompress his brain and restore his spinal flow.
