Hi, we’re Elizabeth and Annette — the two moms behind The Silva Pack

We’re raising funds to support our Boston Terrier, Kovi, as he recovers from emergency spinal surgery caused by IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease).

On Thanksgiving Eve, Kovi suddenly lost mobility in his back legs and was in severe pain. Within hours, we learned that two discs in his spine had herniated at once, and emergency surgery was his only chance. Thanks to fast action and incredible veterinary care, Kovi made it through surgery and came home after a week in the hospital.

Kovi isn’t walking on his own yet, but he’s showing signs of sensation and making small, hopeful progress every day. He’s still sweet, curious, and surrounded by love from his pack.

What We’re Raising Funds For

Recovery from IVDD goes far beyond surgery. To give Kovi the best chance at walking again, funds raised will help cover:

Emergency surgery and hospitalization

Follow-up vet visits and imaging

Physical therapy and rehabilitation

Mobility and recovery equipment

Medications and post-op care supplies
