Hi, my name is Derrick, I am trying to raise money for my roommates dog, kota.

Kota is my roommates 1 year old husky. She is the absolute sweetest girl in the world with a tough upbringing. She was born in the pound and spent the first 7 months of her life in it. She was adopted by another family who unfortunately did not know what they were getting themselves into. She was then returned to the pound after only a month and a half. When finding out about the other adopted family we found that she was neglected and often left in her cage for most hours of the day without any real exercise or mental stimulation. Once my roommate adopted her and we started to show her the love she deserved she blossomed into a fun, loving, and all around amazing dog. She loves her walks and running with her brother, Finn a 1 year old golden retriever, and chasing squirrels especially. Unfortunately, they had a little too much fun one day. Kota broke her leg and is need of a very expensive surgery in order to fix the problem. She is the sweetest dog in the world that deserves all the love she was neglected of up until her adoption by my roommate. The surgery is going to require the vet putting plate into her leg to fix the broken bone.
