Hello everyone, it’s Kory, and I’m here asking for help.

I don’t like asking for help, but I’m in a tough spot right now and trying to be honest about my situation.

After four years, my relationship has ended, and I’m now facing the challenge of supporting myself on my own. The past year has been especially hard—losing a job while going through bankruptcy, struggling with mental health, and doing everything I could to keep going.

I’m trying to stay in the house I’ve lived in for years, where my dogs are comfortable and where I’m surrounded by a few close friends in an area that’s been good for me. But it’s expensive—rent is $1,900/month, electricity is around $400/month, and I’m behind on a $4,000 utility bill that I’m currently on a payment plan to pay off over the next 10 months.

On top of that, I’ve built up about $4,000 in credit card debt just trying to get by, and I’m dealing with medical issues like a deviated septum that severely affects my sleep. The surgery for that will cost around $3,000 even with insurance.

I’m actively looking for work and trying to build a more stable future. But right now, I’m just trying to get through the next few months without losing everything. That’s why I’m asking for help—anything you can contribute, even a few dollars, would make a huge difference.

I’m not on social media anymore, so I won’t be able to share this personally or see comments. But I’m deeply grateful to anyone who takes the time to read, donate, or share this with others.

I welcome anyone reaching out during this time. I know I haven’t stayed in contact, and that’s something I’m working on. I really need community and connection right now.
