I’ve never been the type of person to ask anyone for anything especially money but this is very important and we will need all the help we can get. My beautiful granddaughter Kori is scheduled to have surgery for her scoliosis on March 3rd in Charlottesville. She will be in the hospital for a few days as long as everything goes well and then we would like to be able to stay at a hotel close to the hospital for a couple days before coming home just in case Kori has any problems after being discharged. As most of you know Kori has epilepsy as well as other medical issues so we would feel better being close to the hospital and her doctors if anything happens. Koris mom Chelsie and myself and Koris other grandmother Sandy will all be taking time off of work to be there with Kori and this is why we need help. We plan to take two weeks off and will not be getting paid for those two weeks. We are going to be able to pay for our hotel room but we are worried about having the financial burden of missing work and not getting paid. So we are asking for donations but more importantly prayers. Those of you who know Kori know how sweet and kind she is and she has been through a lot. She is a fighter and we know everything is going to be okay for her. Once again, if you can’t donate financially please keep her in your prayers. Thank you.
