My name is Korey, and I’m about to begin my MFA in Professional Acting at the Drama Studio London, associated with the University of West London. Theatre has been a part of my life for the past 10 years, and the chance to share my story—or someone else’s—on stage is truly indescribable. Acting allows me to step into other people’s shoes, connect with different communities, and bring stories to life. This opportunity is a dream come true, and I’m eager to learn from some of the best in the field while growing as both an artist and a person.

I’m reaching out for support because, just as I was preparing for this next chapter, I faced an unexpected setback. I had planned to work this summer to save for tuition and living expenses, but last month I had a seizure while driving, which resulted in a totaled car and significant hospital bills. Now, I’m unable to drive for the next three months, making it impossible to get to work and earn the funds I need. With my move to London just 10 weeks away, I’m hoping to raise enough to cover tuition, living costs, and travel so I can focus on my studies without the weight of financial stress.
