UPDATE- Thank you to everyone who has donated so far, I really appreciate each and every donation. I just scheduled my consultation for March 9th with the top neurologist in our area. I will keep you all updated. It wouldn’t have been possible without you all.
On August 23rd, I was admitted to the ICU for 7 days after experiencing severe symptoms that left me unable to function normally. After a series of tests, I learned that I have a syrinx in my spine from T5 to T11, measuring 6mm in diameter, as well as a bulging disk at T7. Further MRI scans of my spine, neck, and head revealed two small lesions in my brain and high protein in my CSF fluid. These findings have been overwhelming, and my symptoms have kept me in bed most days, leaving me extremely fatigued and unable to work.
My doctors believe I may have multiple sclerosis, but my insurance does not cover the specialist I need to see for a proper diagnosis and treatment. The uncertainty and physical limitations have made daily life incredibly challenging. I am seeking help to raise funds so I can see a top neurologist who specializes in multiple sclerosis. With the right diagnosis and access to infusions, I have hope that my symptoms can improve and I can regain some quality of life. Most importantly, I need to be able to care for my daughter, so feeling better soon is especially important to me.
Any support you can offer would mean the world to me as I navigate this difficult time. Your generosity will help me get the care I desperately need and bring me closer to feeling better for myself and my daughter. Thank you for considering helping me on my journey to better health.
