I am now in a fight I never wanted or anticipated - the fight against breast cancer.  I am one of the lucky ones.  I have good insurance.  However, as you already know, insurance will not cover everything.  There will be out of pocket costs, travel, gas, meals, and probably a lot of other things that we do not know about right now.  So far I have had a lot of diagnostic and genetic tests; but have not had surgery or started treatment.  This has already cost us several thousand dollars out of pocket.  

I hate asking for money for myself, but here I am doing just that.  If you are led to contribute to my fight against cancer, Carl and I would greatly appreciate it.  Any amount will help us to cover the things that insurance will not.

If you do not want to contribute financially, please say a prayer or two (or a couple of dozen).   Carl and I believe that praying people are powerful people.
