If you know Konrad Funk, you likely have a friend for life. As a Friend, Father, Son, Spouse, and Fishing Partner we all know that he is one of the best. Earlier this year Konrad started to feel unwell, although you may not have known that because he continued to be that amazing Friend, Father and even showed up for his annual C4C charity fishing event. After months of up and down health, on October 23rd, 2021 Konrad was diagnosed with Acute Leukemia. The fight begins today, November 2nd 2021 with Konrad's first chemotherapy treatment. For the next month he will continue to receive chemotherapy while staying in the hospital. He is allowed only two visitors, Mariah taking day shift and Barb for evenings and weekend. This news is a shock to the Funk family, and anyone lucky enough to call Konrad a friend. Konrad has always given of himself through his community of Church, his fishing friends or being a coach for local  Basketball and Hockey teams. Now it's our chance to support Konrad and his family during his treatment and assist the Funk family immediate expenses so they can focus on Konrad and his treatments.
