Kona is a very young 10-year-old husky mix with the biggest personality and the sweetest smile! Recently, he was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma — an oral jaw cancer that is locally invasive but treatable with surgery.

To give Kona the best chance at a comfortable, happy life, he needs a major operation that will remove the tumor, all of his lower front teeth, and a quarter-sized portion of his lower jaw. It’s a big surgery, but one that can stop the cancer before it causes him pain or takes away his ability to eat and enjoy life. Kona is still chasing squirrels, playing with his toys, and asking for treats — and we want to keep it that way for as long as possible.

Veterinary costs are estimated at $6,200, and any support helps us focus on what matters most: giving Kona comfort, dignity, and more good days ahead. Even without his signature smile, he’ll always be our happy boy. ❤️
