Kolbe Irei is an aspiring professional golfer with a clear goal: to compete on the PGA Tour. A dedicated athlete, Kolbe has spent years honing his game, competing in local and national tournaments. His love for golf has driven him to achieve impressive results, including a recent runner-up finish at the prestigious Manoa Cup, one of Hawaii's most celebrated amateur golf tournaments. Despite these accomplishments, the road to the PGA Tour is a financial challenge that requires significant resources.

Why Your Support Matters:

The cost of pursuing a professional golf career is substantial, and Kolbe needs your help to cover the various expenses that come with tournament travel, coaching, and equipment. Tournament entry fees alone can range from $700 to $3,000 per event, and when traveling to national competitions, those costs multiply quickly. For example, Kolbe’s participation in events like PGA Qualifiers requires travel from his home in Hawaii, including airfare, lodging, and transportation expenses, all of which add up to several thousand dollars per event.

Kolbe's ability to compete at the highest level depends on securing financial backing to help cover these costs. The funds raised will go directly toward:

Tournament Entry Fees: With events costing between $700 and $3,000 per tournament, Kolbe aims to participate in as many high-level competitions as possible.

Travel and Accommodation Costs: Traveling to and from tournaments, as well as securing accommodations, can cost anywhere from $1,500 to $3,000 per event.

Coaching and Training: Kolbe plans to continue working with top coaches to refine his skills and stay competitive. This requires an ongoing investment in professional lessons and access to training facilities.

Equipment: As an aspiring professional, Kolbe needs to keep his equipment in top condition, which includes golf clubs, shoes, and other gear.

Kolbe’s Story:

Kolbe’s journey in golf began at a young age, and his passion for the game has only grown stronger over the years. He’s consistently shown promise at the amateur level, with notable performances like his runner-up finish at the Manoa Cup in 2023 & 2025. This prestigious event, which attracts some of the best amateur players in Hawaii, marked a pivotal moment in Kolbe’s career, showing that he is ready to take his game to the next level.

However, the road to the PGA Tour requires more than just talent; it requires financial backing. Kolbe is not only pursuing his dream—he’s also representing Hawaii on a national stage, working hard to break into the professional ranks. But the costs are daunting. The average golfer might spend upwards of $25,000 to $50,000 annually just to compete in high-level tournaments, and that’s before considering the costs of travel and training.
