Help Koi & Akumu Escape to Safety

Hello everyone,

Our names are Koi and Akumu.

For the past several years, the both of us have been stuck in horrid situations, living conditions, and have been struggling to find a way out of our current households. Now that we’re both of legal age, we can both finally leave, but not without money. Due to the job shortage in our areas, it is near impossible to save up for any rent or temporary places.

To summarize our situations:

Koi -

"I've been forced to tend to my younger siblings and play second mom at the age of 8. As the years passed, my parents slowly decided to step up and finally take care of them in doing so, they slowly stopped viewing me as their oldest child and only viewed me as a free babysitter and housekeeper. Along with them viewing me as such, it’s caused them and my siblings to also treat me worse and worse. They go as far as getting upset when I set the smallest boundary or using me as a verbal punching bag."

Akumu -

"I’ve been trying to leave this household for years. There are days where I am ignored in favor of my brother or I gather the wrong kind of attention. Many times, I’ve been hit, had things thrown at me, and touched and violated just so I can be 'shaped and behaved.' I’m constantly sleep deprived, because even with my door locked, I can never be too sure. So it’s either take my chances in there or out here."

The purpose of this is to at least give the both of us a chance to pick ourselves back up and at least get jobs within a month. The money will be used to pay for a month’s worth of stay at a cheap motel, transport, food, and water. Any extra money will be used for our phone bills and other possible necessities.
