Help Kofi’s family

Donation protected
Just a week ago we were blessed to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary and Kofi’s 44th birthday. Around 12am, 2/9/24, Kofi suffered a stroke that was induced my high blood pressure. The medics came and airlifted him to a hospital in Wilmington over an hour away. There was a hemorrhage that caused bleeding on his brain. He has nearly no mobility to his right side. Cognitively he wasn’t able to recognize his own right arm or leg as belonging to him. His speech was very gargled and thoughts were initially incoherent. At our last visit Kofi was able to open his right eye along with his left which he struggled with. He is starting to gain back some communication. He did manage to ask “What’s for dinner?” Which blessed us so much because he wasn’t forming full thoughts initially. To truly test my Buckeye nut I said “O-H…” and he said “ I-O” That’s how I know my love is still in there. We do not know what the future holds for his mobility but we are prayerful it’ll return. Unfortunately he is currently unable to work and our 3 girls and I desperately need help staying afloat right now. Rent is due by the 15th along with many other bills. We know that recovering for him could be long and extensive and we are unsure if or when he can return to work. If you are able to help us in anyway through this difficult time it would be a tremendous blessing.
