Help Kofi Asare Baffour Get Back on His Feet
Donation protected
In 2005, Kofi Asare Baffour invited me to the village where I met my wife while I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ghana. In Ghanaian culture, he is known as my "father" since he took care of me and brought me into the community. He was my counterpart and we worked on tree planting/afforestation projects as well as women's empowerment and education initiatives for disadvantaged children. He was also at the forefront of fighting HIV/AIDS in Ghana. He also worked with two other Peace Corps Volunteers, Philip Hannon and Dallin Witt.
He has a spinal cord issue that prevents him from walking. I have put together this Go Fund Me for him because he doesn’t need to be in this state, and his condition can be addressed. He is someone who has fought hard for the community he came from and still has a lot to offer.
