Hi, I’m Alana and I’m hoping to raise some funds to help me get answers for my baby boy Koen and help to heal his severe Eczema.
For the last 6 months Koen has been suffering from severe eczema. His been admitted to hospital previously and had multiple infections, We’ve tried so many different creams, vitamins, antibiotics, antivirals and probiotics to try and help but nothing seems to make a difference.
My heart breaks for him daily, the most gentle and happy soul I have ever come across but he really does suffer everyday.
He scratches until he bleeds and even when I try to make sure he is completely covered, he always finds a way to scratch himself wether it’s on furniture, with toys or even on the carpet just trying to get any type of relief he can.
He doesn’t sleep at night because he is so uncomfortable and by morning his clothes and bed are covered in blood.
He has been under the dermatologist for a few months now and even they don’t seem to know what to do with him. I have followed everything I’ve been told and still I am no closer to an answer. We have now been referred to GOSH but are yet to hear from them.
He has had some blood testing done which came back clear but the NHS are very limited on what they test for and the tests that they offer.
Ive been looking into other alternative ways that I can help him including, a red light therapy lamp, private allergy testing, homeopathy and also buying him eczema clothing to try and soothe his skin but all of these things cost a lot of money so that is why I would appreciate any support we can get.
If I’m being honest, I feel completely out of my depth with it all and the amount of information I see and receive is so over whelming but I just want to be able to do best by my baby boy and get him healed and back to his normal happy self ♥️
