Help Kodie recover from financial hardship

Hi everyone. A lot of you may know me as NEPTUNEWAVEY/Neptune, but today I come to you humbly as Kodie. This is an extremely difficult thing for me to do, but we all have points in our lives when we have to surrender our fears and ask for help.

Almost two months ago I ran into a situation of financial insecurity, that I thought I would be able to handle on my own, like I have majority of my life, but this time the reality is just too much for any one person to take on their own. I have made many attempts and still currently seeking employment, but have not found much luck as of late. This has also put a toll on me and my role in queer LA nightlife, and it’s getting challenging to balance both when you don’t know how you are going to be able to pay bills, buy my meds, or where your next meal is coming from.

A lot of you have met me through my work in nightlife, whether as a DJ or party organizer with No Prxssure/Club Wavey. I have always had a passion to create and bring people together from all walks of life and to champion all marginalized voices the best way that I know how, and that’s through music, dance, and most importantly, community! And always make sure to take care of my community whether it be the talent, staff, partygoers etc.

So with that being said, it’s time for me to call on my community for help. I am humbly asking for support to help me navigate through this difficult time as I seek stable employment and continue to be able to provide safe spaces for my people .

All donated funds will go to me balancing debts, paying overdue bills such as my phone, electric, and gas bills. Help me cover out of pocket medication costs, especially as someone who is not visibly disabled, but is a type 2 Diabetic with no insurance, and to cover groceries and other necessities.
