My name is Brittany, and my dogs are my world. Recently, I had to say goodbye to my sweet girl Kallie after her battle with cancer. Kallie was the happiest, most loyal, and silliest dog I’ve ever known. She loved car rides, walks, swimming, and always managed to find the biggest muddy puddle to lay in. She was my shadow, always by my side, and brought so much joy to my life. Losing her has been incredibly hard, both emotionally and financially, as her cancer treatments and vet visits added up quickly.

Now, my other dog Kodie, who is just 5 1/2 years old, needs ACL surgery. Kodie is a happy boy with the quirkiest personality—he loves carrying around two toys at once, greeting everyone with his wagging tail and little kisses, and running along the fence with the neighbor dogs. Unfortunately, his surgery is very expensive, and after everything with Kallie, I am struggling to keep up with the costs. I’m a full-time college student, not working, and my savings are quickly disappearing as I try to cover bills, board exams, and moving expenses after graduation.

The donations from this fundraiser will help cover Kodie’s surgery and ongoing vet care, allowing me to keep some savings for my essential expenses.
