Kodi went missing after escaping a hit and run accident outside of our home on 10/26. He ran 2 miles across highways and wasn't seen for over a week, before being spotted by a good Samaritan on Tuesday, November 4th. He survived freezing temperatures, rainstorms, and was ten pounds lighter when found.

We are thrilled that he has been found and is in great spirits! However, he did not escape the car accident unscathed. His left leg is broken and he needed lots of tests and X-rays. He is going into surgery to repair his leg on November 8. If you feel the desire to help us pay for his emergency veterinary bills, we would really appreciate it. We have been so lucky and are absolutely overwhelmed by the kindness we've experienced in trying to locate Kodi. Any funds that we don't use for his bills will be going to Sadie’s Lost Dog Search and Rescue as a thank you and to help continue the work they do for free. We are indebted to them.
