My name is Kodi, but I also go by Mixxi and Ace. I'm a 22-year-old pansexual nonbinary person living in San Antonio, Texas. For as long as I can remember, my mom has controlled my life, struggled with mental instability and religious psychosis, and refused to accept my sexuality or gender identity. She still calls me Dakota, my dead name, and her actions have taken a toll on my mental health. While I'm not in physical danger, the emotional strain has made it clear that I need to find a way to move forward and build a life where I can truly be myself.

I've always dreamed of moving to Los Angeles and escaping the environment that has held me back. Starting fresh in LA would be a huge step toward independence and would lift a massive weight off my shoulders.
