Help Kodi get the Surgery he needs to survive

Hey Friends and Family.

On Sunday, September 23, while I was working, my daughter found my sweet Kodi in a great deal of pain. She rushed him in for x-rays and found he had a blocked bladder and severe fluid buildup. His poor little bladder was inflated to the size of an orange.

This is life-threatening in cats. She reached out to the emergency animal hospitals who quoted $4-6,000, which needed to be paid in advance of his care

Many of you know, I’m just starting to catch up after losing my job for underperforming post knee surgery, and although I picked up work quickly, sales is unforgiving when you first start. My daughter, Casey, doing all she can, is unable to help financially.

I spent several hours crying, holding my baby, believing it was his last moments with me. Thanks to Casey and her team of angels she works with, they opened their office in the middle of the night and were able to drain the contents of Kodi’s bladder so it did not rupture and eliminated some of his severe discomfort.

He is alive, he is still in the vet's office on fluids and a drain. He needs surgery to remove the blockage.

After all of this, I don't want to have to make a decision to euthanize him because I can't afford the procedure. They will perform it at a significant amount less than the hospital.

Kodi is sweet. He loves me and is always checking on me to make sure I am okay. He is only 4 years old and has so many more years to enjoy his life!
