Koda isn’t just my pet. He’s my heart, my rock, and my best friend. He has been my most loving and playful companion, always bringing light and joy into my life.

Recently, Koda was diagnosed with dual medial luxating patella, which means both of his kneecaps slip out of place. Every time he takes a step, he risks his knees popping out of socket. He tries to be brave, but I can see the pain he’s in, and it breaks my heart.

Without surgery on both legs, Koda’s condition will only get worse. He already struggles with pain, and over time this will lead to constant discomfort and arthritis. The only way to give him a happy, pain-free future is through surgery.

Right now, we are working on lowering his weight before the operation, which gives me a little time to save. But the truth is, I pay for all of my own expenses including college, bills, my car, insurance, and daily necessities completely by myself. I have taken on three jobs just to keep up, and I still can’t reach the full cost of both surgeries alone.

Education is incredibly important to me, and I don’t want to have to pause school just because I can’t afford both tuition and Koda’s surgery. I’m doing everything I can, but I can’t do this without help.

Koda is my world, and he deserves to run, play, and be his goofy, loving self again. I would do anything for him, but I need your support to make this possible.
