Help Koda & Kodi Get to Cooperstown
Donation protected
Hi friends, family, and our incredible village,
It’s not easy for me to ask for help. I’m usually the one trying to figure things out quietly on my own. But the truth is, I can’t do this next part alone—and I was reminded in church last week of a powerful truth:
“You do not have because you do not ask.” — James 4:2
So today, I’m asking—with a humble heart.
My twin sons, Koda and Kodi, are turning 13 on May 28th, and just two weeks later, June 12th - 18th, they’ve been invited to play in the Cooperstown Baseball Tournament, a dream come true for any young ballplayer and a once-in-a-lifetime milestone.
They’ve been swinging bats since they were 2 years old, and I’ve watched them grow into not just incredible athletes, but funny, smart, hardworking student-athletes who show up on the field as leaders and in the classroom as honor students. I couldn’t have gotten this far without the love and support of Naanee, Pop Pop, and key people in our village who’ve stood beside us — but right now, we still need extra help to make this dream a reality.
Their hard work and dedication to the game has really taken off—Kodi was recently named a Perfect Game MVP, with both boys hitting back-to-back home runs in that tournament game. They're not just ready for Cooperstown—they’ve earned it.

We’ve already covered the registration and tournament fees, but we’re still raising $3,000 to help cover:
✅ Travel & transportation
✅ Lodging
✅ Equipment & gear
✅ Tournament week meals & supplies
If you’re able to donate $10, $20, or any amount—please know how deeply grateful we are. And if you can’t give right now, we still appreciate your prayers, encouragement, and sharing this message.
As a thank you and a reminder of our powerful village, we’ll be bringing a commemorative baseball with us to Cooperstown and writing the name of every donor on it—so the boys carry their village with them, every step of the way. ⚾️
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
