Help Koda Get the Hip Replacement He Desperately Needs

Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out with heavy hearts but hopeful spirits. Our sweet greyhound, Koda, has been more than just a pet—he’s family. He’s been our loyal companion, a constant source of joy, and Madison’s absolute best friend. Sadly, Koda has been diagnosed with a debilitating hip condition, leaving him in constant pain and unable to enjoy the simple pleasures he loves: running in the park, chasing his favorite toys, and lounging comfortably by our side.

For Madison, this has been especially heartbreaking. Koda is her world, her confidant, and her safe space. She’s terrified of not being able to give him the care he so desperately needs. As a small family of three—a mum and two adult children with Autism and ADHD—we’ve always prided ourselves on our independence. Asking for help isn’t something we do easily. But right now, we can’t do this alone.

The good news is that Koda’s condition can be treated with a hip replacement, giving him a chance at a pain-free and happy life. The challenge is that the cost of the surgery, along with medications and post-operative care, is far beyond what we can afford on our own.
