Koda is more than just a dog—he's my best friend, my constant companion, and a cherished member of my family. He has been by my side through life's ups and downs, always bringing comfort, love, and endless joy. Anyone who has met Koda knows how full of life he is. He loves to play, jump, explore, and make everyone around him smile.

Recently, I learned that Koda needs surgery to correct bilateral conditions that are causing him pain. Unfortunately, because these conditions affect both sides of his body, they are not covered by pet insurance. There is also a possibility that he may need a follow-up surgery in the future if his condition worsens. Watching Koda struggle has been heartbreaking. The dog who once wanted to run, play, and be involved in everything now has moments where pain slows him down. Without surgery, his condition will continue to worsen, and he could lose the ability to enjoy the active, happy life he loves so much. This procedure will give him the chance to live without constant pain and get back to being the joyful, energetic dog he has always been.

As a full-time student, I am doing everything I can to provide for Koda, but the cost of his surgery is more than I can afford on my own. As difficult as it is to ask for help, I am doing it for Koda. He deserves the chance to live a full, happy, and pain-free life.
