My kitten’s name is Koda. We thought he was perfectly healthy when he first came into our lives, but Recently, I noticed Koda’s gums were swollen and red. I took him back to the shelter to have him looked at, and after some tests, they discovered he has an un curable autoimmune disease called Feline gingivostomatitis. This diagnosis was heartbreaking, as it means Koda is in a lot of pain and needs urgent care. The best way to help him is through dental extractions, which will relieve his discomfort and give him the chance to live a pain-free life.
More of what he went through -
In the beginning when we first got him, we noticed spots on our other cat and myself. Concerned, we took Koda back to the shelter, but they assured us nothing was wrong. Wanting to be sure, we visited a different vet, who diagnosed Koda with ringworm. Treating this required us to pay out of pocket, but we were determined to help him get better which tells you how much I’m willing to do for my fur baby when the own place he could trust before he was taken into my arms was the shelter and they failed him.
If you’re willing to help Koda, your support would mean the world to both of us. Every donation brings us closer to giving Koda the healthy, happy future he deserves. Thank you for considering helping my sweet kitten on his journey to recovery.
