Koda has given us love her whole life—now she needs our help. Koda is our companion, our emotional support, and a true member of our family. Today we are fighting for her health. Koda is not just our pet. To us, she is like a daughter. She sleeps with us, works with us, and is present in every moment of our lives. She has always been our loyal companion and our emotional support.

Recently, we started noticing that something wasn’t right. After several veterinary tests, we discovered that Koda has anemia, which means her red blood cell levels are very low and her body is struggling to carry enough oxygen. Her tests also came back positive for anaplasmosis, a tick-borne disease that can affect the blood. The veterinarians believe this infection may be old, but they are currently investigating other possible causes of her anemia as well, including hookworms, intestinal parasites that can cause blood loss and worsen anemia.

Despite everything, Koda continues to fight bravely. She is still eating, wagging her tail, and staying by our side with the same unconditional love she has always given us. The tests, treatments, medications, and veterinary care are very expensive, and we want to do everything possible to help her recover. If we are unable to cover all of the medical expenses, our last option will be to transport Koda to another country where veterinary treatment is more financially accessible, so we can continue fighting for her health.
