My grandson, Kobe Burland, an ironworker, had a bad fall of over 20 ft at work Friday. We are so thankful he's alive! His little family—him, Jaidan, and Zaida (13 months)—just found out a new baby's on the way. He has a broken back and will be in a brace with little movement for 12 weeks. After a month, the surgeon will evaluate if surgery is needed. Jaidan can't work because she's taking care of him, and he was the sole provider for the family! He will eventually get disability, but we all know that's not close to full pay. So, for at least 4-6 months, it will be a tough one for him and his family. We are all pitching in to help them, but any funds you can also help with will be so greatly appreciated! We'll keep you updated on his healing. Thank goodness that he's a strong, healthy young man.
