Help Kobe restart his life after brain surgery.

This fundraiser is to assist Kobe in the next chapter of his life after brain surgery!

Kobe is 19 years old and was diagnosed with acromegaly. Only 1 in a Million people in North America are diagnosed with this disease. Most acromegaly cases are caused by a noncancerous tumour on the pituitary gland. Kobe recently had brain surgery to remove the tumour.

Surgery is usually effective and can completely cure acromegaly. But sometimes the tumour is too large to be removed entirely, and you may need another operation or further treatment with medicine or radiotherapy. We are still waiting to hear if Kobe's tumour is completely gone.

Kobe's life and dreams have been halted by this diagnosis. Our hope is to provide Kobe with enough financial support to assist in his recovery time (loss of work), a place to live and enrolment at VCC - Jewellery Art and Design Program.
