“Three years ago, we lost our youngest son to Covid. He was in the prime of his life and deeply loved by his family and friends. Our family chose to adopt his young dog, Kobe, who has given us much comfort. Recently, Kobe showed signs of distress and was taken for emergency treatment. We learned that Kobe had bladder stones and needed immediate surgery. Without the necessary surgery, the result would be sepsis and a painful death. As all dog lovers know, veterinary bills can be overwhelming, After the surgery we had to bring him home and care for him in his delicate condition since we could not afford to keep him in the hospital for monitoring.
