Help Kobe play hockey in Brockville

Kwe/Hello my name is Kobe McComber, I'm 20 years old and a Mohawk living on the Territory of Kahnawake, Quebec. I recently signed with the Junior B Brockville Tikis Hockey Team for the remainder of the 2021 season. Since October I've been travelling between Brockville, Ontario and Kahnawake making the 4 hour round trip to attend my practices and games, 3-4 times weekly. With winter quickly approaching the team has found a billet family so I could move to Brockville without the worry of risky winter travel. Although convenient, the billet does come at a cost. The billet includes room and board and one meal per day provided by the family. The cost of my billet is $600/month.

Playing at the Junior Hockey level is costly. Up to this point I've paid registration fees, team fees and am working on paying the league fees, equipment fees and travel costs. In addition to all of these costs, I now need to cover the cost of my monthly billet as well as meals, not included in the billet. I will be living in Brockville for 5 months, from December until the end of the season in March. Total cost for my billet is $3000, the remainder of funds will be used towards the meals I need to cover myself and to offset the costs/fees already paid.
