Help Kobe Heal: Surgery for Our Furry Friend
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Taina, and I am of a mom of two beautiful girls and one handsome dog son Kobe. Kobe is a 4 month old Dameranian (Pomeranian+dachshund) who loves to go on walks to drop off his sisters at school, play with all the kids at the park, and loves to cuddle. He was always so energetic and gentle with everyone who came in contact with him. He loves the attention and everyone always loved to see him! Recently, he’s been quite the daredevil and trying his boundaries; attempting to jump on and off high places like my couch, dining room chairs, and even my bed! He also likes to try and jump out of his play pen. (He will be getting a cage after this) This time he really hurt himself and fractured his pelvis. I was told I’d have to keep him home sedated until his surgery next week, which they haven’t given me a date until his bloodwork comes back to clear him and give the go. I was told this will cost me between $4,000-6,000 not including after care and his meds. I am a full time Mom, I’m in school, and I also work full time but I do not make nearly enough to pay for this surgery. I was also not approved for a credit line through the vet for even close to that amount to help pay for it! I really want to help Kobe, he’s been so out of it hardly eating and playing. My daughters and I appreciate anything you can do to help us save their best friend. Thank you! -Taina (aka Mom of Kobe)
