My baby boy Kobe has had a really tough week. He woke on 2/13 unlike his normal happy go lucky self. He seemed to be getting a bit better after the first ER visit, but recently took a turn for the worse. He’s had continuous vomiting and bloody diarrhea non stop. We’ve been able to get the first part of his tests & treatment covered; along with anti-nausea medication, antibiotics for his diarrhea, IV catheter, and a few other antibiotics, we’ve ran tests for parvo, x-rays, blood work, got a non-sedated ultrasound, fecal tests, and they haven’t been able to find the cause yet.

Kobe has seen an ultrasound specialist & his results came back normal. While he hasn’t been vomiting & had bloody discharge, since 2/27 he’s been rushed back to the vet twice with uncontrollable licking, heavy panting, coughing, and gagging.

He’s had more treatment for that, been given an antihistamine injection & hydroxyzine medication along with a 3rd blood test that showed concerns of crushing disease.

He is getting tested for that tomorrow morning.
