Once in a while the universe throws us off course. A difficult path to remind us that each day is never a guarantee, but a true gift. Friday night my best friend, Selinia messaged me that she needed a hug. Her step son, Kobe suffered a seizure. Luckily he was home and was quickly found by Craig and Selinia. Kobe was disoriented and needed immediate care. Shortly after arriving to the hospital, an MRI was ordered. The results were devastating. The image showed a large mass on the right side of Kobe’s brain and was going to need surgery. He was then transferred to Randall Children’s Hospital. Today he will be transferred to Doernbecher Children's Hospital, where the surgery will take place. Much is still unknown but there is no denying that Kobe, only 17, was going to need support. This has left Craig and Selinia both taking time away from work. I decided to create this go fund me for them, to help lessen this already stressful time.
