Update- 12/30: Koa just went back into Surgery at 7:30am!! Prayers please! We still need as much help as we can get. Included invoice on last page! After surgery we then have to go back into 4 weeks for more X-rays (more money). Asking for all the prayer and help we can get!
Koa is my best friend and has been by my side for 10 beautiful years. He’s flown first class with me from Seattle to DC, moved with me to Kansas City, and then to California. Through every up and down, Koa has been my constant source of calm and comfort—my ride or die.
On Christmas morning, Koa fell down the stairs and his back leg went limp. Within 24 hours, his leg had swollen into a balloon, and I rushed him to the pet hospital. The vet prepared me for some difficult unknowns, and the expenses are already overwhelming. I’m behind on rent and using every last dollar to try to save him. It’s overwhelming, but I’m determined to do everything I can for Koa.
Funds from this fundraiser will go toward X-rays and possibly surgery to repair or stabilize Koa’s fractured leg. I need help covering the upfront emergency expenses and any ongoing care that may be needed after the X-rays. I’m a private person, but I’m reaching out and asking for help to save Koa.
