Everyone who has known me for the past 10 years knows my Dog Koa I’ve had him since he was 6 weeks old.. He’s always been a healthy joyful fun loving pup and unfortunately he has currently run into some health issues. We have been to the ER & vet 5 times in the last week and a half.

Not only is his muscular health declining a bit due to age which is understandable, I also found out that he has an abnormal rib from birth that might be causing discomfort with a muscle or his organs . (I had to get X-rays done this week due to him being in severe pain & found out that way) (1st ER visit last week)..

while I was away filming over the weekend I got a heartbreaking call from my friend explaining that koa woke up with his face HUGE AND SWOLLEN, also in so much pain! It scared the all of us . I got him rushed to the vet and got him an emergency allergy shot incase it was due to his meds from the Rib situation … or if he got bit/stung by a bee while I was away. The NEXT DAY he had a follow up and they saw an abscess on his gum. Still in severe pain on his eye and in his mouth.

Dr Ran some tests and found out that koa needs to get surgery this Friday 08/15/25 and any donations can help.

Friday I’m Getting x rays done, his dental surgery and removal of some teeth. He is currently on pain meds and antibiotics. He’s 10.5 years old and has always been healthy .. so this is heartbreaking and very unexpected. We Can’t risk any infection since it’s in his head and that’s so close to the brain, that can affect his blood stream. Due to that, the surgery needs to be done as soon as possible. Wouldn’t want to risk his life.

The donations will help with the cost of his procedure and after care supplies for him, such as soft food and his medications.

Koa literally knows you all by name and loves each one of you dearly. Let’s help koa together so we have time to make more memories with him for the next few years and get him out of pain asap! He’s a strong boy and has a family from all over who loves him .
