Koa is an important, adored member of the Hernandez family. Recently, while romping around with his little sister Pua, Koa tore his ACL. This injury has severely impacted his mobility—so much so that Ben and I now walk behind him, gently holding his hips for support. It’s heartbreaking to see our five-year-old pup, who should be out chasing toys and living his best life, struggle just to get around the house.

ACL surgery is the best option to help Koa regain his strength and return to his playful, happy self. The cost of the procedure is significant, and it’s not something we can manage on our own. We’re reaching out to friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers for help. Your support will go directly toward Koa’s surgery and recovery, giving him the chance to enjoy many more years of adventures with us and his sister Pua.
