Knox is my one-year-old dog with a fun, spunky personality who has been by my side through the ups and downs of college life. I adopted him to help with my anxiety and he’s truly become the perfect addition to my life. Every day, Knox greets me at the door with excitement, no matter how tough my day has been. He’s my little shadow, always eager to join me for walks, play fetch, or just hang out while I cook in the kitchen. Having him with me has made the challenges of college so much easier to handle, and I can’t imagine my days without him.

Recently, Knox suffered a life-changing injury. I came home from work to find him unable to move, and after rushing him to the vet, we learned he had a clean break in his rear right femur. The surgeons want to operate as soon as possible to avoid amputation, and the surgery is scheduled for this Thursday. Because of the complexity, Knox will also need to be boarded overnight after the procedure. As a full-time college student, I simply don’t have the savings to cover these unexpected costs on my own.

I’m reaching out for help to cover Knox’s surgery and the necessary aftercare so he can get back to his happy, energetic self. Any support will go directly toward his medical bills and recovery.
