Help Knox Overcome Cancer

Donation protected
In August, Knox had a broken tooth that needed to be removed. But after the procedure, he was still in pain, and I knew something wasn’t right. I took him to another vet, who suspected a cyst but ended up referring me to a dental specialist. During surgery, the specialist discovered a large hole where the first tooth had been removed. A CT scan revealed a huge mass on his lower jaw, which she biopsied. In order to close the hole, she had to remove 3 more teeth and sew his lip over the hole. She took a biopsy, and his results just came back. He has squamous cell carcinoma, an aggressive cancer.

He needs a mandibulectomy (removal of part of his lower jaw) as soon as possible to fully cure it. She wants to perform the surgery next week before it spreads further. She’s reassured me that dogs adapt incredibly well — his tongue may just hang out a bit more, but he’ll be pain-free and healthy again.

We've already been through two surgeries and many appointments, and I just can't afford this next part on my own.
