Hi, we are Knit to Change — a Berlin-based social fashion project.

We work exclusively with leftover and donated yarn that would otherwise be thrown away, and we collaborate with refugee women who hand-knit every piece as part of a fair, non-commercial and supportive working environment.

On February 1st, we have been selected to present a side event of Berlin Fashion Week — an immersive fashion performance that rethinks Soviet and post-Soviet aesthetics through contemporary knitwear, memory and care.

The show combines a traditional runway with an installation inspired by post-Soviet clothing markets, where models interact with the space and guests move freely through the scenes.

This project is non-commercial.

All participants — designers, knitters, models and the team — are involved on a voluntary basis.
