Hi, I’m Callen and this is my cat Klaus. He’s a 3 year old kitty who I rescued from a bad situation when he was just a few months old. He was completely infested with parasites, bloated, and lethargic but was able to pull through. He grew up into the most loving, silly boy, and when I got cancer he stayed right by my side and helped me get through it. Now he needs me again; I’m not sure what’s wrong with him but he’s been lethargic, his usual glimmer has dimmed in his eyes, his stomach feels firmer to the touch, and he won’t get up— except to use the litter box, with chronic diarrhea. I’ve tried all of the in-home supportive methods to care for him. I need help so I can take him to the vet/ animal hospital. I’m devastated that I don’t have the means to do so after the financial impact of my own treatment. All donations will be used in his medical diagnosis, treatment, and care. Please help Klaus he is such a special boy and deserves to be loving life. Please help my kitty who helped me. We both appreciate your care and support.

Yesterday Klaus went in to begin his evaluation and journey toward better health. After his exam, he was put on a prescription diet, given some supportive medication for diarrhea and treated for dehydration; we are now waiting on the results of his fecal sample test to determine what comes next.
