Klaus is my angel baby, and I truly can’t imagine life without him. He’s goofy, stubborn, a little menace, and cuddly when he wants to be. He gets along with dogs and everyone he meets, and he’s so social—he follows me around like a puppy and loves our tanning sessions on the roof. Klaus has always brought so much joy and comfort to my life, and now he needs help.

Recently, Klaus was diagnosed with a corneal sequestrum, and he needs eye surgery (a keratectomy) to remove it. He’s been in pain and can’t open his eye, and if we don’t do the surgery soon, his condition will only get worse or come back. The funds raised will go directly toward the cost of his surgery and the follow-up visit, so he can get back to being his happy, mischievous self.

I am living in NYC on a very tight budget and simply don’t have the funds to support the surgery. I got pet insurance, but they won’t cover it after the appointment, listing it as a “preexisting condition.” Please help me make my baby boy comfortable again.
