Help KK Stay in Her Home of 20 Years

Hi, my name is Kristin. I’m a 57 year old single woman who has always lived with dogs. Right now that’s 14 year old Rex—my other dog Athena just died last week. I moved to beautiful Boulder in 1989 and have lived in the same mobile home park since 1991, and in the same mobile home since 2001. I love my home, my neighbors, and my community. I can’t imagine living anywhere else. After more than 40 years of steady employment as a computer analyst and organizational expert, my health is in serious decline and I can no longer work. I had a car accident several years ago that has left me with some pretty scary diagnoses, including severe musculoskeletal disorder, severe lumbar spinal stenosis, severe hip osteoarthritis, and severe carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands. I’m too young for this! And I’m not yet eligible for social security.

I have used up all my savings. I have applied for social security disability but unfortunately, receiving a determination of my claim is taking much longer than I expected. I need help paying rent on my home while my SSI case is pending. Please help me stay in my beloved home. I so appreciate anything that you can contribute to this. I will be forever grateful.
